Summer vacation 2022

Image
A little delayed blogpost about our summer vacation 2022. The time for sailing got reduced due to an invite to a 60 years birthday party in Portugal. So we spent two weeks in Portugal, which of course was very nice. This reduced our time available for sailing from four to two weeks.  When coming home from Portugal, we were a little unsure where to go. We could go nearby where we live, on the west coast of Norway. However, the weather forecasts were really depressing. The only reachable area with acceptable weather was the southeast coast of Norway. It is a little far to go there for only two weeks, but with some 24 hours sailing, we could get there within around 30 hours, and reachable as such.  Moored at a small islet We decided to go southeast, and nice weather we got. We visited a small city named Lillesand, and some islands around. A succeessful use of our two weeks.  Enjoying the time at a small beach Visiting a lighthouse at Skauerøya

Seaborne again!

We chose the latter. And in the aftermath, looking at how prices have developed for used boats, that was a very wise choice. We can get far more for our boat today than we would have got 3 years ago. I.e. we would have had to pay a lot more for a new boat today compared to wh...
